Donna Hoffman
Interiors by Donna Hoffman
We love the elegance, drama, and overall polish of Donna’s home office library design. From the custom millwork to the stylish furnishings, the scale and sophistication of Donna’s space would make for an impressive video backdrop.
In Donna’s own words:
Can you think of a better place to work from home than this sleek yet stately home office library? When a favorite client showed us a celebrity’s somewhat fuddy-duddy library for inspiration, we playfully asked if we could remove the “fuddy-duddy” and add more “sexy-stylish.” With his nod, we created a space with major wow factor, a functional workspace with no shortage of luxury or comfort. Bespoke ebony-stained floor to ceiling cabinetry, millwork, and ceiling coffer provide a striking backdrop to the signature furnishings throughout the space. A custom-sized rug is offset by an unexpectedly modern boardroom table. Oversized to support work habits, it’s flanked by handsomely modernized green velvet wing chairs and 2 sleek armless chairs for seating that can be deep or perching. A sleek, two-tone chandelier and pair of striking gold lanterns complete the scene.
Joshua Rose
Form Design Studio
We enjoy the airy, minimalist feel to Joshua’s living space design that comes across as a modern art composition. The oceanic feel and soft color palette would make for especially zen video background.
In Joshua’s own words:
We endeavored to design a space that is collected, considered and expansive. It holds you while allowing you to breathe freely. Each piece has a purpose and while culled from seemingly incongruous origins, works to create a unique and holistic environment. Anyone can attempt this same design approach in his own home with a skillful and firm editorial process.
Lauren Buxbaum Gordon
Nate Berkus Associates, Inc.
We are impressed by the timeless beauty of Lauren’s home office where she has masterfully displayed her collection of personal objects and books. This design would be an ideal video background for those with more classic and sentimental tastes.
In Lauren’s own words:
My office is a collection of my life’s journey. The vintage bureau plat was one of the first pieces of furniture I ever purchased for myself, in my early 20’s. The shelves are layered with all kinds of meaningful things …accessories from my travels, sentimental gifts, objects I’ve found antiquing, as well as framed photos. Surrounding yourself with things that you love & that are filled with memories, makes for a more inspired work space. I’ve done some of my best work sitting at this desk.
