The paintings of Samantha Keely Smith are masterful color landscape of painted emotion, an art technique she calls “the landscape of the psyche—the place where the conscious and unconscious meet and meant to depict “inner landscapes and imaginary worlds.”
England-born Samantha Keely Smith now lives in Brooklyn and studied Art and Art History at the School of Visual Arts in New York, and received a BFA with Honors from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University (Painting, 1991).
