About Studio Designer


Studio Designer is the leading application for interior design professionals. The company was formed to provide project management and accounting systems for its users. In 2009 Studio Designer began to offer users access to its cloud based platform and in 2015 committed to developing new features that would allow its users to communicate and purchase directly with vendors. The 2016 creation of the Vendor Portal and Client Portal features will significantly enhance the user experience and efficiency.

Keith GranetCEO

Keith Granet founded DesignersAxis, the parent company for Studio Designer. Studio Designer is an ever-evolving company to support the management of interior design firms. Keith formed his management consulting firm Granet & Associates in 1991 to provide financial and operational management consulting to the design industry. He is also the author of the Business of Design: balancing creativity and profitability (2011) and The Business of Creativity: building the right team for success (2016), both published by Princeton Architectural Press. Granet guest lectures at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. He is the founder of the Designer Speakers' Bureau and co-founder of the Leaders of Design Council. Granet is a graduate of Hartwick College ('79) and lives with his family in Los Angeles.

Patrick WaltingerCTO

Patrick Waltinger is the Chief Technology Officer of Studio Designer and brings to the company a deep and expansive knowledge of web and mobile applications with experience leading high-performance development teams. He worked as a web developer for many years and successfully developed a web application for Siemens. He previously worked as a CTO for a startup in 2013 and is now leading the Studio Designer development team to release Version 2.0, the most significant software update in the company's history.

Studio Designer in the Cloud

Studio Designer, recognizing the power of cloud computing, builds a robust cloud based application on SalesForce.  This application makes communicating and accessing data significantly more efficient for designers.

1995

Studio Designer with Integrated Accounting

Haeberle builds an accounting system to integrate with the original project management software, establishing the first fully integrated software for the interior design industry.

1985

First Version of Studio Designer Released

With a need to automate interior design business operations Haeberle creates the first version of Studio Designer for interior design firms.
