We are thrilled to introduce —the new Financial Dashboard— a gateway to your firm’s financial information in a dynamic and easy-to-find screen. With a single glance, you can assess the financial health of your firm and take quick action with direct links to documents and one-click PDF reporting.

Easy Customization

Because designers manage their accounting uniquely, Studio Designer has designed this Financial Dashboard with Widgets that can be added, removed, moved around, and resized. You have the option of adding and removing such widgets including Accounts Receivable and Payable, a graph of your Balance Sheet, Beginning and Ending Balances. You can always restore the standard dashboard layout by pressing “Reset Dashboard” at the bottom of the Widgets menu.

Instant Information with One Click

One of the handiest features of this dashboard are the PDF icons you see associated with certain Widgets like the Balance Sheet and Client Profit. All you need to do is simply need to click on the PDF icon on the Widget and a new tab will open with an instant PDF of the detailed report.

The Accounts Receivable and Payable Widgets each display the invoices and orders associated with each account balance. In Accounts Receivable, you click on a Client ID to view each invoice that is not current. In Accounts Payable, you can view purchase orders by clicking on Vendor ID.

Greater Insights with Visual Graphs and Charts

Two of the Widgets—Balance Sheet and Client Profit—are color-coded and designed to visualize your finances in a vibrant, easy-to-understand format. Both Widgets have green to represent cash on hand, blue to represent equity and income, and pink to represent liabilities and expenses. Note that the Widgets will only display only the top-line information and detailed information can be easily obtained with one click on the PDF icons.

However, we know that this information is sensitive and not for everyone’s eyes in your company, and Studio Designer has precise permissions settings for each employee that will allow you to grant access on a case-by-case basis.
