Studio Designer has a new investor partner. What does this mean for our clients?
For over 30 years, Studio Designer has been committed to our mission of empowering designers’ creativity with innovative digital solutions. As we look toward the future, our goal remains the same: to continue to innovate and deliver even more tools and solutions that help you, our designer clients, grow and expand your design businesses. With this in mind, we are thrilled to announce that a new investment partner has taken a stake in Studio Designer, Serent Capital.
Why did we choose to partner with Serent Capital?
Over the years, we have achieved many milestones including adding our 10,000th client last fall (we now have 12,000 clients and counting!), reaching the significant marker of 30 years in business, and growing our team from two employees to over 50. We’ve reached these significant growth markers by operating efficiently and profitably. While we could continue to operate successfully as we are today, we have chosen to partner with a new investor that will help accelerate Studio Designer’s growth.
We were looking for a partner with significant subject matter expertise in the areas we believe will create the greatest growth and experience for our clients. We are very happy to have found this in Serent Capital, a firm that shares our values and desire to enable high potential companies to achieve their potential. We are excited to grow the Studio Designer platform with Serent’s highly skilled and capable team.
How will the Studio Designer customer experience change?
In short? Very little. You will continue to have the exact same access to Studio Designer’s suite of project management, time billing, reporting, and accounting tools. You will still be able to access our support team through email, chat, and phone. You will continue to hear from the Studio Designer communications team with relevant updates.
What’s in store for our future?
Studio Designer has reached, and sustained, its status as the market leader by delivering best-in-class software solutions to you, our designer clients. We have the privilege of having more than 12,000 clients because we are continuously innovating on our product and delivering a high level of service. One thing we can promise: this commitment to product innovation and customer service will not change. In fact, we will be able to provide even more new features and platform enhancements as well as broaden and deepen our suite of customer service offerings.
Below are some of the areas where we will be focusing over the next several months:
- Delivering new features and platform enhancements focused on payments and data insights.
- Expanding our customer service offerings focused on professional services and new customer onboarding.
- Hiring and integrating new senior leaders to bring expertise on product and finance.
